About the game
In '12 Thieves', originally known as 'The Thief of Baghdad', you take charge of a cunning gang of thieves, all with one goal in mind: to plunder Baghdad's most heavily guarded palaces and amass the greatest treasure! But don't think it'll be easy; the wealth is under heavy guard, so intelligence is your best weapon. The trick is to infiltrate your thieves into the Guard Corps, turning them into double agents, or, when things get tough, use your resources to bribe guards who can't be 'convinced' to join your cause. The game is a strategic race where hand management and area movement are crucial. You need to be a master at playing your cards at the right time and reacting swiftly to the board's twists and turns. The player who most cleverly positions their thieves and guards throughout the city, controlling key points and ensuring the loyalty (or corruption) of the guards, will be the first to collect four pieces of treasure and be crowned Baghdad's greatest thief. It's a game of cunning, bluffing, and planning, where every move can be the difference between glorious success and imprisonment.
