In Marrakech, you step into the shoes of a rug merchant in a bustling Moroccan market, aiming to outsmart your competitors. Everyone starts with an equal amount of money and a stash of carpets to lay out. On your turn, you can give Assam, the market guide, a spin, and then roll the die to see how many spaces he moves. Be careful not to land on a fellow merchant's rug, or you'll have to pay them coins for each contiguous square of their carpet color! After that, it's your turn to place one of your brand-new carpets orthogonally adjacent to Assam, but without overlaying another carpet, of course. The game concludes when all players have placed their last carpet. Then, it's time to count the coins: whoever has the most money wins! In case of a tie, the player with the most visible carpet area takes the win. It's a quick game with a dash of luck and plenty of strategy to dominate the market!
