What you do in a play session

In *Grackles*, you’re a flock of those noisy, iridescent birds that love to perch on telephone wires. This lightly themed abstract strategy game challenges you to position your birds on the wires to dominate the scene. Each turn, you choose between placing a tile (expanding the 'wire' landscape), connecting points with your birds, extending a line of birds, or even rotating an empty tile to shift the game. The board grows to 5x5 tiles, and once all available wire pairs are occupied, the player with the most birds on the wires wins. It’s quick (20-30 min), easy to learn, but offers decisions that demand spatial awareness and a bit of calculation. Perfect for those who enjoy games blending simplicity with strategic depth.
