Game Objective

The promotional card Briefcase adds a new element to the base game 6 nimmt!, introducing the concept of "hot goods." The objective is to avoid being stuck with the Briefcase card at the end of the game, as it incurs penalties. If a player manages to finish the game without taking any rows of cards while holding the Briefcase, they are rewarded as a "successful smuggler."

Preparation (Setup)

1. Shuffle all cards in the game deck.
2. Separate the top 20 cards and shuffle the Briefcase card among them.
3. Place these 21 cards back on top of the deck.
4. Deal the cards according to the rules of the base game or the variant in use.
5. The player who receives the Briefcase card must place it in front of them and draw a new card.

Game Flow

The Briefcase card passes from player to player during the game. When the player holding it takes a row of cards, they must pass it to the player on their left. This action repeats until the end of the game.

Actions and How to Play

• Pass the Briefcase: When the player with the Briefcase takes a row of cards, they must pass it to the player on their left.
• Successful Smuggler: If a player ends the game with the Briefcase without having taken any rows of cards, they gain 10 positive points.

End of Game and Scoring

At the end of the game:

• The player holding the Briefcase card receives 10 negative points, added to the bull head points.
• If the player with the Briefcase has not taken any rows of cards, they gain 10 positive points instead of the penalty.

Tips for Winning

• Try to pass the Briefcase quickly to avoid being stuck with it at the end.
• If you have the Briefcase, avoid taking rows of cards to become a "successful smuggler."
