About the game
What you do in a play session
The game unfolds over 18 rounds, and each turn you'll need to be clever. You'll grab dice from the Workshop Rondel, give lectures at fancy institutions to gain prestige, travel around the UK to sort out issues, and, of course, complete tasks assigned by Ada herself. All of this is to accumulate Prestige Points, which are what matter to win.
The trick is that you'll be adding components to your blueprint – dice, gears, programs – to assemble the first Analytical Engine. It's a literal 'engine building' game where you construct your action engine, and the dice rondel adds that strategic spice. When someone finishes assembling their engine, the game ends, and the scoring begins. Whoever has the most prestige takes the glory! It's an experience that blends dice luck with sharp planning, perfect for those who enjoy an intelligent challenge and a dash of reimagined history. Oh, and there's a solo mode for those who like to face challenges alone!
