About the game
In Age of Conan: The Strategy Board Game, you are transported to the Hyborian Age, the legendary period immortalized in the adventures of Conan the Cimmerian, Robert E. Howard's creation. Here, you take control of one of the great kingdoms of the era – Aquilonia, Turan, Hyperborea, or Stygia – and embark on an epic journey to dominate the world. Your mission? To build the most powerful empire, utilizing armies, diplomacy, and even sorcery, all while trying to secure the support of the greatest hero of all: Conan himself.

The game unfolds over three ages, each with its own Conan adventures. At the beginning of each adventure, players participate in an auction to decide who will have the privilege of controlling Conan for that cycle. Available actions are determined by fate dice, which are rolled to form a common pool. Players, in turn, select a die and perform the corresponding action, which may include moving armies, using multi-use kingdom cards, or influencing events. As Conan's adventures unfold and dice are used, kingdoms grow in power and wealth, conquering neutral provinces and subjugating rivals. At the end of each age, there's a pause to consolidate gains, collect gold, and prepare for the challenges of the next. The detailed miniatures and immersive board help transport players directly into the heart of the Hyborian Age, where strategy and strength define the fate of empires.
