About the game

What you do in a play session

If you're a fan of Anachrony and thought you'd explored all the future (and past!) has to offer, get ready: Anachrony: Future Imperfect has arrived to expand your temporal horizons! This modular expansion introduces four new modules that can be used separately or combined, adding an extra flavor to your gaming sessions. The Neutronide Buildings module gives you structures that become increasingly effective the more Power Plants you have. The Hypersync module is for those who enjoy playing with the space-time continuum: you can perform a Capital action without spending an Exosuit and later use a special action to make that move affect the past. Beware of paradoxes, but the reward might be worth the risk! Quantum Loops throws you into parallel universes where resources are more abundant and local technology can give you a shortcut. For this, you'll use a new Warp tile that unlocks Quantum Effect cards, but closing these portals requires a true Breakthrough. Finally, the Intrigues of the Council simulates the political machinations of the World Council, adding more player interaction and customizable endgame scoring objectives, replacing the original endgame conditions. Sending your Exosuits at the right time can yield bonuses and help you build an Agenda tile tableau. This expansion is a feast for those who want more Anachrony, with new strategic layers and challenges that will test your ability to manage time and resources.
