About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a stacking adventure in the Swiss mountains with 'Animal Upon Animal: Crest Climbers'! This version of the classic dexterity game 'Animal Upon Animal' challenges you to have steady hands and an eagle eye as you try to stack a variety of animals and objects typical of Switzerland. The objective is simple, but the execution... ah, that's the fun part! Each player starts with a set of animals and, on their turn, rolls a special die. The die roll will dictate your next move: you can stack one or two of your animals onto the central tower already under construction, pass an animal to another player (who will then have to stack it), or place an animal on the table to expand the base from which other stacks can begin. It's a strategic decision, as a wider base might provide more stability, but it can also be a temptation for other players! The tension builds with each added piece. If, by chance, any pieces fall during your turn, don't worry: you get up to two of them back, but the others are out. The first player to successfully stack all their animals and objects wins the game, proving to be the true master of heights. Originally released as 'Tier auf Tier: Gipferstürmer', this game brings an alpine and charming touch to stacking fun, ideal for the whole family!
