About the game

What you do in a play session

Ascension X: War of Shadows is the tenth set in the Ascension series, a deck-building game that blends strategy and luck. The plot revolves around the conflict between the forces of Light and Dark for control of New Vigil, and this clash directly influences the game. Depending on the balance between these forces during day or night, players can gain extra powers. Additionally, the game introduces a new category of cards: dual-cost Heroes and Constructs, which require two types of resources to be acquired. The goal is to accumulate the most Honor Points, whether by acquiring powerful cards or defeating monsters. With dynamic mechanics that require constant strategy adjustments, Ascension X offers an engaging and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players.
