About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to dive into an Arthurian epic unlike anything you've seen before! In Avalon: The Riven Veil, the legend of King Arthur takes a dark and mystical turn. After the fateful battle of Camlann, where Arthur and Mordred fell, the king's body was taken to the enigmatic Avalon. But what no one expected was that Mordred, Arthur's shattered son, would also find a way to the island, defying death itself with forbidden knowledge. Now, the veil separating the mortal world from the magical realm of Avalon has been torn, and this cosmic wound draws all who possess sight to the island. Some come to desecrate the sacred land, others to protect it. You and your friends (or rivals!) will take control of mighty factions, exploring the mists of Avalon to uncover its secrets. Prepare to discover legendary artifacts, tame mythical beasts, embark on the hunt for the Grail, and brace for the impending war. The game ends after a predefined number of seasons, and the player with the most Victory Points, earned through controlling settlements and other feats, will be crowned the true master of Avalon. It's a race against time and your opponents to shape the destiny of the mystical island!
