Get ready to settle the southwestern region of Germany with Baden-Württemberg Catan! This game celebrates the 60th anniversary of the merger of the states of Württemberg-Hohenzollern, Baden, and Württemberg-Baden with a special edition of the classic Catan. The gameplay is what we already know and love: roll dice to see which areas produce resources, trade those resources with friends (or foes!), and use everything to build roads, settlements, and cities. Oh, and of course, buy development cards to turn the game around. The goal remains the same: be the first to reach 10 victory points. The big twist here is that the board is fixed and represents Baden-Württemberg, with predetermined resource numbers on each location. Additionally, you can build iconic landmarks of the region, such as the Stuttgart TV Tower or Heidelberg Castle, which add extra charm and a new strategic element to your journey to dominate the island. It's Catan with a very specific and charming German touch, perfect for those who enjoy the series and want to explore a piece of German history and geography while playing.
