About the game
What you do in a play session
In Bako: Dig and Write, you’re an archaeologist exploring the ruins of an unknown civilization on the island of Bako. The game combines dice rolling and paper-and-pencil mechanics, where you draw fences on your territory to uncover fossils, treasures, and ruins. Each round is determined by the dice, and everyone plays simultaneously, trying to complete specific figures to earn points. But beware! Other archaeologists can sabotage your plans by placing holes in your area. After 15 rounds, the player with the most points wins. It’s a quick and fun game, perfect for those who enjoy strategic challenges and a bit of direct interaction.
