About the game

What you do in a play session

For a whole decade, Bandido has been outsmarting guards and stealing hearts, and now he is back in a special 10th Anniversary Edition that drops us right into the most legendary prison on the planet: Alcatraz! In Bandido Alcatraz, the goal is straightforward, but it requires the kind of teamwork that makes cooperative games so addictive. You and your friends must help our favorite outlaw dig tunnels, gather vital gear like raincoats and ropes, and eventually find the path to freedom. But don't expect a walk in the park! As you expand your tunnel network, water starts rising from all sides, threatening to flood your escape route. If the tunnels get submerged, your chances of breaking out vanish. The gameplay is super intuitive, reminiscent of classic dominoes: you connect cards to expand the maze, all while trying to contain the flood by creating dead ends. It’s the perfect pocket-sized game to toss in your bag for a trip, a cafe visit, or a game night with the family. Supporting 1 to 4 players, it shines whether you are playing with a group or tackling the challenge solo. The art is charming, the rules are taught in minutes, and the tension builds with every single card placed as the network grows more complex. If you’ve enjoyed previous Bandido games, you’ll feel right at home, though the new obstacles will definitely force you to sharpen your strategy. It’s a true cooperative experience: you either work together to beat the tide of Alcatraz, or the Bandido spends the rest of his life behind bars. Grab your shovels, organize your equipment, and good luck with the breakout!

Can I play this solo?
Absolutely. The solo mode is a highlight and a great way to challenge your logic without needing a group.
How long does a game last?
It's a fast-paced game, usually taking about 10 to 20 minutes. Perfect for a quick break.
Do I need the other Bandido games to play?
No, you don't. Bandido Alcatraz is a standalone game, so you can jump right into this one without owning the others.
