About the game
What you do in a play session
Battle Of Skill (BOS) is the first luckless TCG: you have full control over the game, with no shuffling, drawing, or RNG. The only hidden information is what your opponent brings to the table. Each turn, you can summon up to 3 Summons onto the battlefield, which fight against your opponent's and clear lanes to reduce their 30 life points to zero. You also gain a resource called Vim each turn, used to cast Spells for bonuses. Before playing, build a deck with 10 Summons, 10 Spells, 3 unique Wizards (cards you 'Rest' to summon a Summon), and 1 Boss — your most powerful card, which usually wins the game if you meet its special condition. Strategy revolves around managing your progress, slowing your opponent, and positioning Summons in the right lanes, all while having full access to your deck at all times. If you love card games where pure skill decides the winner, BOS offers a unique experience.
