BattleCON: Devastation of Indines is a heavy-hitting card dueling game that balances style, speed, and deep strategy. You pick from 30 iconic heroes and villains in the world of Indines—like a guitar-playing summoner, tag-team werewolves, or a prodigal paladin—and pit their unique playstyles against each other in fast, intense combats. Each character feels distinct, yet they all follow the same core rules, making new characters easy to grasp but tough to master. With a 7-space board, point-to-point movement is crucial for positioning your strikes at the right moment, while simultaneous action selection keeps everyone engaged and reactions unpredictable. Player elimination ratchets up the tension until the final round—but don’t assume it’s just a 2-player game: it supports up to 5 players, with cooperative modes and even a solo RPG-style campaign called BattleQUEST (six adventures: 3 solo, 3 co-op) leading to a final boss. You can also combine it with War of Indines to double the roster and variety. Just note: it needs external translation for cards or sheets, but the gameplay is so tight it’s totally worth it.

Do I need BattleCON: War of Indines to play?
No — Devastation is fully standalone. But combining both games expands the character pool and unlocks new variants.
Does it work well with 3+ players?
Absolutely — supports up to 5 players in team-based formats, with clear rules for coordinated turns and balanced team play.
Is the solo mode satisfying?
Yes — BattleQUEST delivers campaign-style solo/co-op adventures with automated enemies, escalating challenges, and even boss fights.
How long is a typical game?
Roughly 45 minutes — though games can run shorter with aggressive play or longer during first sessions.
Do I need prior BattleCON experience?
No — each entry in the series is self-contained, and core rules are clearly explained; just learn your chosen character’s unique abilities.
Is it good for groups who dislike RNG?
Very — almost everything hinges on player decisions and reading opponents; only the initial card draw has randomness, and even that’s manageable.
What about language dependency?
Cards are printed in English, so for full Portuguese play you’ll need unofficial translations — like spreadsheets or fan-made printed cards in PT-BR.
