Beast Dice is a dice duel that pits two players head‑to‑head in a battle of pure luck and strategy. Each player starts with 30 health points and an acrylic figurine that tracks the fight’s progress. The game kicks off with a base die roll, numbered 2‑7, which sets each combatant’s initial power. If both players tie, they roll again, and each new roll adds to the base power, building tension with every attempt. Whoever rolls higher goes first, but the choice to pass or boost can turn the tide. Passing means the player with lower power takes damage equal to the power difference, while boosting lets you pick between two boost dice: the light one, which has a 2/3 chance of doubling your power, and the heavy one, which has a 1/3 chance of tripling your power but also a 1/3 chance of dealing three damage to yourself. Both dice carry a 1/3 chance of “bursting,” wiping your power to zero and ending your turn. A round ends when one player runs out of health, and the match is best‑of‑three rounds. The “push‑your‑luck” mechanic makes every decision a calculated risk, and while the game is fun, it can be frustrating for those who dislike losing purely by chance. If you enjoy quick duels, risk decisions, and a sprinkle of luck, Beast Dice might be an interesting experiment, but be ready for a sudden end on every roll.
