Hey everyone! Ready for a cosmic trip through time? In Bios: Genesis, we go way back to when Earth was just a primordial soup and life was taking its first steps. Each player takes on the role of one of life's building blocks – like the amino acids that control metabolism, the lipids that form cells, the pigments that capture energy, or the nucleic acids that ensure replication. The goal? To unravel the double origin of life: first, autocatalytic life, a cycle that repeats without truly replicating, and then, Darwinian life, where organisms replicate using a template. It's a game that can be played chill in cooperative mode, in a competitive battle, or even solo. Designer Phil Eklund, a veteran of complex themes, considers this project one of his most ambitious undertakings. Prepare for a deep simulation of evolution, where you'll interact, exchange genes, become parasites, or even symbionts.
