About the game
What you do in a play session
Black Vienna is a pure deduction game where you and your friends become detectives trying to uncover three mysterious spies. With 27 suspect cards (including an intriguing 'Ö'), three are randomly removed at the start – these are the criminals you need to identify. The rest are dealt to players, and the cat-and-mouse game begins: everyone asks indirect questions by playing combinations of three letters to others, who respond with chips indicating how many of those letters they hold. Write everything down, because every answer is a puzzle piece! The first to deduce the three hidden spies wins. The post-war spy theme is light, but the brain-burning tension is guaranteed – especially when you realize you're one clue away from solving the mystery... or getting completely lost in your own notes.
