Get your brain ready and hold your breath, because Blitzword is here to test your reflexes and your vocabulary! This is a frantic card game where speed is everything. Each round starts with you holding 8 word cards and a challenge in the center: an active word and one or more rules (like 'ame last vowel' or 'longer word'). Looking for pure adrenaline? In Speed Mode, forget about turns! If you spot a word in your hand that fits the rule, play it immediately on top of the center word and shout out the reason. If no one can make a move, just knock on the table to request a new rule. Prefer something more tactical? Strategy Mode lets you play in turns, choosing to play a card, swap your hand, change the active word, or alter the rules. And here's a pro tip: if you find a word that satisfies BOTH rules at once, you can yell 'Blitz!' and play out of turn! The goal is simple: empty your hand before anyone else. Anyone left with cards after three rounds takes the penalty. It's fast, it's loud, and it's perfect for a quick burst of energy between larger games.
