The Gods of Ásgard expansion for Blood Rage injects an extra dose of chaos and strategy with the arrival of two powerful gods each game. In every session, two random gods enter the fray, each with unique abilities that alter the rules of specific provinces, adding an intriguing tactical layer without overly complicating the game's flow. The positioning of these gods is dynamic: after a successful (or unsuccessful) pillage in their province, the player must move them to another strategic location, ensuring they never stay put or end up in already plundered areas. This constant dance of the gods directly impacts draft choices and the unfolding of battles, forcing players to adapt their tactics. Will you try to exploit a god's power repeatedly, guiding them to your areas of interest? Or will you focus on neutralizing them, attacking neighboring provinces? Perhaps even attempt a risky pillage just to force the god to move and disrupt another player's plans. The god miniatures come with tarot-sized cards, detailing their powers and influencing player decisions.
