Ever had that feeling of rebuilding something devastated and turning it into something glorious? That's exactly what happens in Blue Moon City. The game picks up right where the previous title in the series left off: the city of Blue Moon lies in ruins, and now the region's races must set aside their conflicts to rebuild. But of course, nobody wants to be just a helper; everyone is vying to become the next leader of the city!

The board is modular, starting with 21 tiles showing only the 'building plans.' Your goal is to move strategically across this grid, using race cards to invest in the reconstruction. Once a building is fully completed, the tile is flipped, revealing the building in its reconstructed glory. Those who contributed to the project receive crystals and dragon favors — and yes, the game includes three plastic dragon miniatures that add a great touch to the tabletop experience.

Don't be fooled, though; it's not just about charity. You need to manage your hand carefully and decide where to place your influence to secure the best rewards. The climax happens at the central Obelisk: the first player to pay the required amount of crystals to restore the Obelisk's crystal wins the game. The required amount varies by player count (4 for four players, 5 for three, and 6 for two), keeping the competition balanced.
