In Broom Service, get ready for a magical adventure where witches, druids, and gatherers unite to deliver potions across the realm, all while you try to outsmart everyone at the table! The goal is simple: accumulate the most victory points by delivering your potions with the help of your trusty broom service. But don't be fooled, the path isn't as smooth as it seems.
This game, a revamped and expanded version of the acclaimed Witch's Brew, brings a vibrant new theme and charming illustrations. In each of the 7 rounds, divided into 4 turns, players secretly choose 4 of their 10 role cards. The big twist? Each card has a 'brave' action and a 'cowardly' action. The brave action is more powerful but comes with a risk: if another player chooses the same card and decides to be the 'brave' one after you, they steal the action, and you're left with only the cowardly (and weaker) version. The cowardly action is safe but less impactful. It's a ballet of bluffing and reading intentions that will test your mind!
You'll use gatherers to collect necessary ingredients, witches to zoom around the map, and druids or witches to deliver potions, earning victory points with each successful delivery. And don't worry about bad weather: Drizzelda, the weather fairy, is there to chase away lightning clouds. Also, keep an eye on the event cards, which bring a twist each round. At the end of 7 rounds and after bonus points are tallied, the player with the most victory points is crowned the master of magical deliveries!

How many players can play Broom Service?
Broom Service is designed for 2 to 5 players, but the 2-player version is a welcome addition in the revamped edition, offering a more focused experience.
What is the average game length?
A game of Broom Service typically takes between 30 and 75 minutes, depending on the number of players and everyone's familiarity with the rules.
Is Broom Service a complex game for beginners?
It has a medium weight (2.38/5 on BGG), meaning it's not overly complex, but it requires some attention in the first few plays to grasp the bluffing and action selection dynamics. After a few rounds, it becomes quite smooth!
What makes Broom Service different from other pick-up and deliver games?
The big twist is the simultaneous action selection mechanic with bluffing. The decision between being 'brave' or 'cowardly' and the possibility of having your action stolen by another player adds a layer of interaction and tension that sets it apart.
What are the main components of the game?
The game comes with a modular board, role cards, event cards, wooden player pieces (witches, druids, gatherers), potion and victory point tokens, and a weather fairy token.
Who is Broom Service best recommended for?
It's ideal for those who enjoy strategy games with plenty of player interaction, a good touch of bluffing, and hand management. If you like the idea of reading your opponents and taking risks for bigger rewards, you'll love it!
