About the game

What you do in a play session

In Burke's Gambit, you're part of a space freighter crew on a mission to recover alien technology. But mid-journey, you discover a dangerous parasite has infected one of you! To make matters worse, someone sabotaged the ship's engines. Now it's a race against time: while some want to bring the parasite to Earth at all costs, others must discover who's infected before it's too late. Each player takes on a unique role (Captain, Marine, Comms Officer...) with special abilities. On your turn, you roll a die to attack others, heal yourself, peek at secret alliances, or even speed up arrival at Earth. When the ship finally reaches the planet, everyone votes on who gets spaced (yes, it's Among Us-style but with dice and cards). Can you save humanity... or will your own team betray you?

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you buy

5 questions
How many players is ideal?
Works well with 4-8, but shines with 6+ - more people = more distrust and betrayals!
Is it hard to learn?
Not at all - rules are simple and a game lasts just 20 minutes. Even non-gamers pick it up quickly.
Is there text on components?
None - just icons and numbers, so no language dependency.
How is it different from The Resistance or Werewolf?
Burke's Gambit has more randomness (dice) and less endless debate. And no one stays dead/eliminated for long.
Is it good with 2-3 players?
Not really - the fun comes from large group dynamics. With few players, it falls flat.
