Insider Black arrives as the spicier upgrade to the hit conversation game Insider, adding extra tension and strategy for fans of chatty deduction games. The core goal stays the same: answer questions about a secret theme, while an "insider" secretly manipulates the answers from behind the scenes. This edition adds a new "follower" role (available with six or more players) that teams up with the insider to help mislead the group. The theme cards have been beefed up – 42 brand‑new, tougher cards – and a set of "off‑limits question" cards forbid certain topics, such as asking about the master or the insider himself. A three‑minute hourglass times each round, forcing quick decisions. The biggest twist is that Insider Black can be mixed with the original Insider, creating two teams (up to 11 players total) that battle to uncover the opposing team’s insider while racing to answer the quiz.
