About the game
What you do in a play session
Bus & Stop is a card game that puts you in the shoes of a bus driver in a bustling city. Your goal is to get passengers to their correct destinations without overloading the vehicle. Each turn you can either pick up passengers of a specific color waiting in the bus stop queue or drop off a group already on your bus that matches one of the available destination cards. Seniors are scored immediately because they don’t travel far. When you deliver a group, all other players can have one of their matching passengers removed, adding an indirect competitive layer. The game ends when there are no more passenger cards to refill the queue or only a few destination cards remain. Scoring sums one point for each individual card delivered and the values listed on the destination cards, plus a depot bonus if your bus ends empty. The 10‑card limit forces you to plan your moves, while open drafting lets everyone choose from the available cards, creating bluffing and strategy opportunities. Bus & Stop blends hand management, open drafting, and set collection into a quick format, with 15‑minute games for 2‑4 players. If you enjoy tactical card games without overly complex rules, Bus & Stop is a great pick. The deck features passenger cards in various colors and destination cards indicating which combinations score higher. A small board represents the bus where you place your cards. The blend of mechanics ensures each game feels unique, as your decisions to pick up or drop off affect not only your score but also those of your opponents. The learning curve is gentle, yet there’s room for advanced strategies, such as deciding whether to keep the bus full and wait for a big drop or to clear space with smaller groups for future combos. Designed for quick play, 15‑minute sessions make it perfect for family game nights or for those with limited time but still craving a more engaging experience than a plain deck of cards.
