In Butterfly, you control an adorable hedgehog moving across a colorful board to collect the most valuable pieces. The game is easy to learn: move your hedgehog across the grid, grab high-scoring items, and try to leave opponents with bad options. Don't be fooled by the cute looks though — there's solid strategy here. Every move can be calculated to maximize your points while messing with others. The push-your-luck element comes when deciding whether to go for risky valuable pieces or play it safe. The charming components featuring butterflies, flowers, and insects appeal to both kids and adults. In 30-45 minutes, you'll get an experience ranging from casual to competitive depending on your group. It works equally well as family fun or as a brain-burning duel with strategic friends.

Is Butterfly good for kids?
Yes! The rules are simple and the colorful components are very appealing to children. Kids aged 8+ can play comfortably.
Ideal player count?
Works best with 3 or 4 players. With 2 it's more strategic, with 5 a bit more chaotic (but still fun).
Is it luck-dependent?
There's some luck in piece placement, but the best wins come from those who plan their hedgehog's moves intelligently.
How long does a game take?
About 30-40 minutes, depending on player count and how much people overthink their perfect moves!
Does it need much table space?
The board is compact (6x6), so it fits anywhere. Great for travel or small tables.
Is there a digital version?
Yes, it's available on Board Game Arena to play online with friends.
