About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for another round of tense decisions in Capital Lux 2: Generations! This standalone sequel to the acclaimed 2016 tactical card game introduces a game-changing twist: customizable capital powers. With 256 unique combinations to explore, one of them replicates the original game's experience, while the other 255 challenge you with new rules and tactics. The core dilemma remains, but with an extra kick: will you keep your character cards in your home base for end-game points, or will you contribute them to the Capital to activate their powers and influence the game? Be sharp, because at the end of each round, your base cannot have a higher total value in any color than what's currently in the Capital. Slip up, and you lose those cards! At the end of the third round, cards remaining in your home base are worth points. It's a constant balancing act, where every play is a gamble to maximize your gains without exceeding the Capital's limit, always keeping an eye on the active powers. With quick playtime and high replayability thanks to the power combinations, Capital Lux 2: Generations is perfect for those who enjoy card games with a strategic edge and impactful decisions.
