About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a fierce duel on the medieval battlefield with Carcassonne für 2! This special version of the classic tile-placement game is designed exclusively for two players, ensuring a focused and strategic experience. Each turn, you'll draw a landscape tile and carefully fit it into the map being built. Each tile might feature a piece of southern France: imposing cities, winding roads, tranquil cloisters, or fertile fields. The challenge is to connect everything intelligently, linking cities to cities and roads to roads.
After placing your tile, the decision is yours: where to place your loyal follower (the meeple)? It can become a knight defending a city, a robber raiding a road, a monk meditating in a cloister, or a farmer tending the fields. When one of these areas is completed, your meeple scores points! But be warned, every meeple is precious. Is it worth spending your last follower on that giant city, or is it better to use them to hinder your opponent? Carcassonne für 2 is pure strategy in every move, with a brisk pace that keeps you on your toes. Despite the simple rules, the possibilities are immense, making each game unique. All of this comes in a charming metal box, perfect for taking anywhere and challenging your favorite gaming partner.
