About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for an intergalactic adventure that blends the addictive strategy of Carcassonne with the Star Wars universe! In Carcassonne: Star Wars, the classic rules have been supercharged with a spacey twist. Instead of roads, we have trade routes patrolled by merchants; cities become asteroid fields, and knights give way to explorers. Planets replace cloisters, and conquerors claim them. Forget farming, the focus here is space conquest!

The big differentiator is the faction symbols (Empire, Rebel Alliance, and Bounty Hunters). They grant bonus points, no matter which side you're fighting for. To decide who dominates an area, things get tense: dice rolls come into play! Whoever rolls the highest wins the dispute, but even those who lose can secure some points. You roll extra dice if you have your large Meeple or matching faction symbols, but the limit is three dice per turn. A brilliant twist is that when conquering a planet, you can place your Meeple on the planet tile itself or on the adjacent tile you just played. And for team strategy fans, there's even a 4-player mode, with the Empire versus the Rebel Alliance. It's the Carcassonne you love, with the thrill of Star Wars!
