Carcassonne: The Watchtowers

Hey, Carcassonne crew! Ready to spice up your favorite game? The 'The Watchtowers' expansion introduces 12 new tiles that blend seamlessly with the base game, adding a strategic twist and a dash of luck with its watchtower feature. When you place one of these special tiles, you can position your meeple on a city, road, or even as a farmer, but be warned: the tower itself is just for show, no meeples allowed there!

The cool part is when a completed road or city includes one of these towers. First, you check out the bonus points the tower grants – each one has a different secret bonus. Then, you add the normal points for completing the structure. Oh, and the farmers, unfortunately, don't get any of these extra tower points. It's a small expansion, but it adds extra flavor to your games, encouraging area control and a bit more planning on where you place your tiles and meeples. If you enjoy Carcassonne and want something new without adding too much complexity, this is a neat addition to shake up your game nights.
