About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your fingers ready for action in Catacombs (Third Edition)! This cooperative adventure game throws you into the fantasy world of Cimathue, where one player takes on the role of the fearsome Overseer, controlling an army of monsters. The other players form a team of brave heroes on a quest to save the town of Stormtryne from the threats lurking in the catacombs. To succeed, you'll need plenty of dexterity and a bit of luck with your flicks! Each hero has unique abilities and can use gold, gained from defeating monsters, to purchase items and equipment that will aid them on their journey. Exploring the catacombs happens room by room, eliminating threats before moving forward. The artwork has been completely revamped in this edition, and the rules have been refined with icons for easier understanding, along with new shot types and card effects. The ultimate challenge is facing the powerful Catacomb Lord. If the heroes defeat him, the town is saved! But beware, if the Overseer manages to eliminate all the heroes, victory is theirs. Catacombs is pure adrenaline, blending strategy with the thrill of landing that decisive flick. It's a fun and tense experience, perfect for those who enjoy a physical and tactical challenge, with a touch of RPG and the possibility of player elimination.
