About the game
What you do in a play session
Ever had a trip go south so badly that you ended up in the underworld? That's exactly where you are in Cerberus! Your mission is to navigate through the infernal depths and reach the escape boat before it's too late. But there's a catch: Cerberus, the legendary underworld watchdog, is hot on your heels, determined to keep you there forever. This is a tense semi-cooperative experience where teamwork is essential, but trust is a luxury you might not be able to afford. While you need to work together to navigate the board and avoid being caught, there's a dark twist: the escape boat doesn't have enough seats for everyone. This scarcity turns every player into a potential traitor. As you play, you'll face constant dilemmas with your hand of cards. Will you play a card for a minor personal boost, or a powerful effect that helps the entire group? You can be the hero who saves the day, or the opportunist setting traps for your fellow travelers. If Cerberus catches you, your role shifts—you'll fight to prevent anyone from escaping, seeking revenge for your failed journey. Thanks to the modular board layouts and adjustable difficulty for the beast, no two escapes are ever the same. It's a fast-paced game of negotiation, betrayal, and survival that will keep everyone on the edge of their seats.
