In Cheeky Monkey, fun is guaranteed with a 'push your luck' mechanic that puts you in control of an animal adventure! The game comes with eight types of animals, each represented by plastic chips. To start, all chips are placed in a bag, ready to be drawn.
During your turn, you draw chips from the bag. The big twist is that you decide when to stop! If you stop before drawing an animal that's already in front of you (from the current turn), you add all the chips you collected to your personal stack. But be careful! If you draw a duplicate animal, all the chips you drew this turn go back into the bag, and your turn ends. It's that moment of tension: do I risk one more or stop here?
To spice things up, there are a couple of special rules. If you draw an animal that's already on top of an opponent's stack, you can steal that chip! However, if you steal it and then draw a duplicate animal, the stolen chip also returns to the bag. And the monkey? Oh, the monkey is special! If you draw one, you can either keep it or swap it for the chip on top of any other player's stack. The game ends when the last chip is drawn from the bag. Whoever has more chips of a specific animal type than any other player receives bonus points equal to the total number of that animal in the game. The player with the most points at the end is the big winner!
