About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a castle-building showdown in Diamoniak! The goal is to be the first to erect your own castle by collecting six cards of the same color. All cards start face down in the center of the table, and each turn, you must draw at least one. If you're lucky and draw a castle card of your color, great! It marks the start of your construction. If someone else is already building in that color, the card goes to your discard/sale area. You can risk drawing another card after a castle, or pass your turn. Fairy and diamond cards also go to your discard area, but diamonds are valuable: you can use them to buy castle cards from other players (3 diamonds for 1 castle, no refusal allowed!). Beware of witch cards; they bring bad luck and make you lose your turn and some cards! But a fairy can save the day and neutralize the witch. If the central draw pile runs out, discarded cards form the new pile. Whoever completes their castle first wins!
