About the game
What you do in a play session
Cheesy Heist is a fast‑paced, chaotic card game that shines in short sessions (5‑25 minutes) packed with interaction. Each player starts with a face‑down pile of cards on the table, creating a secret stash. On your turn you may grab any card you like, regardless of who placed it there, and you aim to collect five Cheese cards while discarding all Cat cards from your hand. Success relies on watching your friends' nervous eyes, remembering where the cheese was hidden, and, of course, tossing the dreaded "Hot Potato" – the Cat – at the perfect moment to mess up opponents. Interrupts and Take‑That mechanics let you cancel or modify other players' moves, while Open Drafting lets everyone see the available cards and pick strategically. Though the competition is fierce, the atmosphere stays light: no hard feelings, just laughs and stories about who got caught without cheese. Suitable for 2‑5 players, the game scores a 1/5 weight, making it ultra‑accessible for beginners and families. The cards sport bright artwork featuring hungry cats and tasty cheese, reinforcing the animal and food theme. If you enjoy a blend of memory, deduction, and a dash of chaos, Cheesy Heist will deliver quick, laugh‑filled rounds that end before you know it.
