About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to turn off the lights and face the night! In Chupacabra: Survive the Night, you and your friends transform into legendary creatures from Latin American folklore, with a touch of horror and plenty of dice luck. The goal is simple: be the last mammal standing, or rather, the most successful predator. Each player starts with six glow-in-the-dark dice – yes, you read that right, they glow in the dark! – and the mission is to use the feared Chupacabras you roll to steal your opponents' critters. Chickens, goats, and bulls are the targets, and each creature has its value. A lone Chupacabra can snatch two chickens or one goat. To take a plump bull, you'll need two Chupacabras working together. But beware! Packs of animals together are immune to your attacks. Luck is a great ally here, as rolling many of the same animal can be the key to survival... or to becoming Chupacabra Loco! If you roll all Chupacabras at once, prepare for a devastating special attack where you can take all animals of one type from a single player. It's a fast-paced game, lasting between 10 and 20 minutes, perfect for 2 to 4 players who enjoy a dash of luck, a fun theme, and a visual that stands out in the dark. The mechanic is pure dice rolling, so strategy is limited, but the fun and laughter are guaranteed. Ideal for those looking for something light to kick off game night or to unwind.
