About the game

What you do in a play session

In Clash of the Cards: 2nd Edition, you're in the midst of the Thirty-Eight Year War in the kingdom of Skyvale, and your goal is to assemble a powerful army to claim the throne. This fast-paced and fun card game for 3 to 6 players blends hand management, set collection, and simultaneous action selection. Gather matching heroes to form armies, declare battles, and force your opponents into the fray. Choose your champion in secret, count to three, and yell 'TO BATTLE!' — the highest power takes the prize pile. Action cards spice things up: steal an army with a Thief, protect yours with a Chest, sneak in with a Spy, or pass the dreaded Death card to the next winner. The 2nd edition brings clear improvements: new bonus cards that encourage set collection, a hand limit, and more streamlined rules. The first to reach 1,000 points crowns their reign in Skyvale!
