About the game

What you do in a play session

In Collusion, a 3-5 player game lasting 60-100 minutes, you dive into the post-heist chaos, where trust is a rare commodity and betrayal, a sport. The objective is simple: be the richest thief, but with a crucial detail – no one can claim an Asset from the Vault alone. Every piece of loot requires two players to make a 'Deal'. The table becomes a stage for intense negotiations: bargain for your cut, make empty promises, threaten retaliation, or offer future favors. The catch? The secret decision to 'Cooperate', 'Betray', or 'Counterfeit'. If both cooperate, the loot is divided as agreed. But if you betray your partner while they cooperate, you take everything and they're left with 'Heat'. Be careful, greed can bite back: if both betray, no one gets paid and both accumulate Heat. And if you suspect a backstab, the 'Counterfeit' action can turn the tables on the betrayer. The real magic happens at the table: lie, bluff, bribe, form alliances, and destroy reputations. Verbal promises are worthless; only the Deal cards matter. Beyond Deals, 'Leverage' cards allow you to interfere with negotiations, set traps under Assets, manipulate 'Reputation', and disrupt rivals. 'Betting Tokens' are used when you're sure of someone's move. Exploit the asymmetric abilities of your 'Crew Role', or risk everything with the 'Steal Die', which can either fail miserably or steal a rival's cash. Meanwhile, the police are closing in. Each round, a 'Panic & Police' card changes the scenario, and 'Police Warnings' become increasingly dangerous. When the fifth Warning appears, the game ends. Subtract the value of each Heat and count your profit. The player with the highest final score is the master of deception. Make the Deal. Read the table. Betray them before they betray you.
