About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey everyone! Ready for a game that will have everyone talking and suspecting each other? CAD! is one of those card games with tons of table talk and serious bluffing, perfect for 3 to 6 players. The twist is that everyone has a secret: you could be a Loner, a Normie, or a Cad, and each role has a secret target number of tokens to aim for by the end. Everyone starts with one token and a hand of cards. There are six rounds, and in each one, everyone simultaneously chooses and reveals a card. The highest card played wins the round and gets to move one token from any player to any other player. Think about it: there are only six token moves in the entire game! Each play reshapes everything, and a single move can help one player while disrupting several others. Discussion, negotiation, accusations, and of course, bluffing, are all unrestricted throughout play. Players are never required to tell the truth, so watch out! At the end, whoever has the correct number of tokens for their secret role qualifies. If more than one player qualifies, the highest remaining card among them decides the winner. If nobody qualifies, the highest remaining card overall wins. It's a quick game, packed with interaction, and it really tests your nerve!
