What you do in a play session
Get ready to relive the great colonial wars of the 18th century with "Colonial 1700-1800: Great Battles"! This expansion introduces a brand-new scenario mode and five historical situations for you to recreate epic conflicts. And the big news is the inclusion of the United States as a playable faction, ready to join the fray!
With this add-on, you'll add 21 new colonies, 34 battle cards, and 10 scenario cards to your base game. There's also a new mini-board focused on Oceania, featuring native ally cards, colonies, and specific objectives. For the Americans, you get 17 battle cards, 2 unique tactic cards, control markers, coins, and even their own dice, plus a dedicated player board. Remember: "Great Battles" doesn't work on its own; you NEED the "Colonial 1700-1800" base game to play.
Some scenarios may require components from other expansions, such as Spain, Portugal, or the Netherlands. For a complete and immersive experience in colonial battles, having all five factions from the base game is highly recommended.
