About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for the funniest chaos at your next gathering! In Curses!, the goal isn't just to win, but to avoid getting caught doing silly things. The concept is brilliantly simple: each player starts with a 'Curse' that imposes a wacky, mandatory rule. It could be something like 'don't bend your elbows' or 'declare eternal love to whoever rings the bell.' The game flows through turns where you draw a Challenge — which might involve acting out a scene, telling a story, or defending an opinion — and a new Curse to pass to a friend. The real challenge is that you must follow your curses at all times! If someone notices you breaking a rule, they simply ring the central bell and expose you. If caught, your curse card is flipped face down. The game continues until only the cleverest (or best actors) remain; anyone who breaks three curses is out. It's a pure party game where laughter is guaranteed and the tension of trying to stay composed while doing absurd things drives the fun. It's fast, dynamic, and perfect for breaking the ice in any group of friends.
