About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a hilarious garden race with "Da ist der Wurm drin"! In this super-fast and fun dice game, each player controls a worm trying to emerge from the compost heap. The goal is to be the first to have your little critter poke its head out, either towards the flowery margins of daisies or the fruity rows of strawberries.
Setup is simple: a small board with two 'exits' (daisies and strawberries) attaches to the main board where the worms crawl. Each player chooses a color and places their worm's head on the corresponding track. On your turn, you roll a die and add a segment to your worm, with the indicated length and the rolled color, to your track. But watch out, the trick is guessing which worm will reach each goal first!
You can bet a daisy or strawberry tile on top of the worm you think will reach its respective destination first. If you guess correctly, the tile is yours! If you guess wrong, goodbye tile. The first worm to fully emerge wins the game. For those who enjoy a slightly bigger challenge, you can extend the race to the edge of the main board. "Da ist der Wurm drin" is perfect for families, for introducing children to the world of board games, or for those moments when you want a lighthearted game, full of laughs and a bit of bluffing.
