About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for some fast-paced, portable fun with Pass the Pigs! This "beer & pretzels" game comes in a compact travel case holding two pig-shaped dice, pencils, and a scoring booklet. The goal is straightforward: toss the pigs and hope they land in scoring positions like "snouter" (60 points) or "trotter" (20 points). Each turn, you can choose to "cash in" your points by passing the pigs to the next player, or risk it all and roll again. But beware! If the pigs land in a non-scoring position, you lose all points accumulated that turn. A "pig out" (one pig on each side) means you lose your current turn's points, while an "oinker" (both pigs touching) wipes out your entire score! Even worse, a "piggyback" (one pig on top of the other) can get you eliminated from the game! For those who enjoy a dose of luck and a bit of risk, Pass the Pigs is a blast. It's the perfect game to take on trips, play at a pub, or just for a quick laugh with friends. The "Hog Call" variant adds a layer of betting where other players can predict your throw's outcome, potentially doubling your winnings or costing you precious points. It's pure luck with a dash of bluffing and tons of fun!
