About the game
Get ready to dive even deeper into the darkness with the Darkest Dungeon: The Board Game – The Crimson Court expansion! This box brings a terrifying new area to your base game: the Courtyard. What were once lush, vibrant gardens have now transformed into a swamp of decay, lit only by a sinister bloodlight glow. This decadent place is infested with grotesque insectoid creatures and their unfortunate victims, ready to test the sanity and courage of your heroes.

The expansion introduces an arsenal of new enemies to challenge your party. You'll encounter 8 new monsters, ranging from level 1 to level 3, ensuring the threat is constant, no matter the stage of your campaign. And for those seeking a supreme challenge, 4 new Bosses await, each more horrifying than the last. To boost replayability and immersion, The Crimson Court also adds new Quest and Curio cards, ensuring each exploration is unique and full of surprises. But beware: this location is particularly dangerous, with relentless stress and a high probability of bleed and blight effects, requiring your heroes to be constantly on high alert.

To further expand the dungeons, the expansion includes 6 new room tiles, which are double-sided, totaling 12 new rooms to explore. This means more dangers, more secrets, and more opportunities for your hero party to prove their worth. And, of course, 12 new room cards complement these physical additions, ensuring the Courtyard is a place where death lurks around every corner. If you thought Darkest Dungeon was already challenging, prepare for the next level of torment!
