About the game
What you do in a play session
After millions of years of wasteland, life is finally blooming again. In Darwin's Choice, you're the architect of evolution, creating unique species from over 230 animal cards. The world is constantly changing - biomes transform, catastrophic events appear out of nowhere, and only the most adapted survive. Your mission? Ensure your creatures not only survive but dominate the ecosystems. Each game is a strategic journey where you'll balance adaptation, competition, and a bit of luck. The cards you play define your animals' traits - is focusing on brute strength better than investing in resilience? And when the environment changes radically between eras, do you migrate your species or risk radical mutations? With hand-drawn artwork and mechanics blending hand management, area control, and healthy 'take that', Darwin's Choice offers a unique experience every game. In the end, only one player will be recognized as the true Darwin's Choice - the one who best understood that in the game of evolution, flexibility is everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
What's the ideal player count?
Works best with 3-5. With 2 it's more strategic, with 6 more chaotic.
Is it hard to learn?
Has some unique mechanics, but card references help a lot. Allow 20-30min for first game.
Is there text on cards?
Almost none - just icons and numbers. Very language independent.
Average playtime?
60-90min once everyone knows the rules. First game might take up to 2h.
Good for educational purposes?
Absolutely! Teaches evolution and adaptation concepts naturally through gameplay.
Are cards durable?
Good quality, but since they're handled a lot, consider sleeving for heavy play.
