About the game
Hey everyone! If you're into bluffing, deduction, and the DC Comics universe, then get ready for DC Spyfall. This is a super easy-to-learn party game, perfect for livening up any gathering with plenty of suspicion, tricky questions, and clever answers. At the start of each round, everyone gets a secret card revealing one of twenty iconic DC locations, like Arkham Asylum or the Daily Planet. But there's a catch: one player receives the Joker card and, poor soul, doesn't know where they are! The Joker's goal is to figure out the location before their identity is revealed, securing victory for the round.

But don't think that's all there is to it! DC Spyfall brings some really cool twists to the classic Spyfall formula. Since Harley Quinn loves to follow the Joker, in some rounds, a player might receive a location card with her image. This Harley player has the secret mission of helping the Joker by dropping hints about the location, even without knowing the Joker's identity. If the Joker guesses correctly, both score points, unless the heroes are clever enough to unmask Harley!

And there's more: the game includes 'multiverse' decks, which contain eight different locations instead of just one, making questions and answers even more confusing – and no one knows when they're playing with one of these decks. There's even an 'all-Joker' deck, where every player receives a Joker card, and questions are based only on what the group collectively believes. To top it off, superpower cards grant special abilities for a round, like dodging a question or having to answer in just a few words. Laughter and tension are guaranteed!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is DC Spyfall good for someone who has never played Spyfall before?
Absolutely! It's super easy to learn, even for those unfamiliar with the original Spyfall. The rules are intuitive, and the DC theme helps you get into the mood quickly.
How many players are ideal for DC Spyfall?
The game works well with 3 to 8 players, but the peak of fun and tension happens with 5 to 7 people. More players mean more suspicion and laughs!
How long does a game of DC Spyfall last?
Rounds are quick, usually between 40 to 50 minutes for a complete game. It's perfect for several consecutive rounds or to fit into a longer game night.
Is the game very complex? Does it require a lot of strategy?
Not at all! It has a very light complexity weight (1.25/5 on BGG). The strategy lies more in how you ask questions and how you bluff, not in complicated rules.
What are these 'multiverse' and 'all-Joker' decks?
These are variations that add more chaos and fun! Multiverse decks have multiple locations, making deduction harder. The 'all-Joker' deck makes everyone the Joker, and answers are based on collective imagination. You only discover you're playing with them during the game!
Are the game components of good quality?
Yes, the game comes with good quality cards and art that evokes the DC universe. It's a game that focuses more on interaction and less on elaborate components, but what's there is well-made.
Is this a game that appeals to superhero fans?
Definitely! If you enjoy the DC universe and its iconic characters, you'll love the immersion in the locations and the spy/hero theme. It's a treat for fans!
