About the game

What you do in a play session

Una Notte da Lupi is a lightning‑fast 10‑minute game that throws up to 10 players into a night brimming with suspicion and twists. Each participant draws a hidden role – it might be a hungry Werewolf, the Seer trying to glimpse the truth, an innocent Farmer, or one of the villagers with special powers. Werewolves aim to muddle the village, while the villagers must uncover who’s wearing the wolf’s skin before the death count reaches its limit. The game blends role‑playing, voting, and variable powers, allowing teams to form and even traitors to hide within the group. Added cards include the Troublemaker (who swaps roles only with immediate neighbors), the Masons (who know each other), the Minion (Miteane) who aids the wolves, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice (an Alpha), and the Mortovio, acting like a lone hunter. Components consist of paper tokens representing each role, streamlining setup. Play starts with a “night” phase where everyone closes their eyes and executes secret abilities, followed by a “day” where, in a few minutes, players debate, accuse, and vote to eliminate someone. The rapid voting mechanic and constant need to read fellow players create constant tension, yet the rules are simple enough for newcomers to join the fun. Perfect for parties, casual meet‑ups, or as a warm‑up before a longer game, Una Notte da Lupi delivers a lot of excitement in a short span, though the talk‑heavy nature may be a hurdle for shy groups or noisy environments.
