About the game
What you do in a play session
Buckle up, last-minute drivers! The "Goons and Guns" expansion for Death Roads: All Stars is here to add more fuel to the fire of this insane race. If you thought the base game was chaotic, brace yourself: this beauty adds five new competitors to heat up the asphalt, each with their own tricks and envious looks. But the real star here is the "Sidekicks" mechanic, a brand-new addition that changes the game. Now you can hire a dozen goons to give you that extra boost, each with their specialties to help you dominate the track or sabotage rivals.
And speaking of sabotage, the arsenal has also been upgraded! Get ready for a horror show with sonic weapons, murder tools that inflict unprecedented status effects like "Net" and "Buildup," and the cherry on top: a completely new class of weapons with the "Glitch" mechanic, which promises to turn the game upside down. With these novelties, your deck construction and hand management strategies will have to be redone from scratch. The complexity increases a bit, but so does the fun and unpredictability. If you enjoy a racing game with touches of combat, science fiction, and a lot, a lot of mayhem, this expansion is for you. Just don't complain if your car turns into scrap metal before the finish line!
