About the game

What you do in a play session

Deck of Spies is a solo deck‑building game that kicks off with a standard deck of cards. You start with an empty Spy Deck and, each turn, flip the top card to reveal the spy you’re facing. Your task? Decide whether to counter‑attack, recruit, or, if the situation’s dire, retire the spy from your hand. The trick lies in balancing your hand and deck, always keeping the option to discard cards that aren’t useful. If the deck runs out of viable options, you may be forced to assassinate the target, which can cost you points. At the end, the goal is to hold more than half of the Key Spies (J, Q, K) in your deck. The game runs in about 15 minutes, making it ideal for quick strategic challenges and testing your adaptability. The deck‑building and hand‑management mechanics create a constant decision‑making experience, while the variable setup ensures each game feels fresh. If you enjoy card games with a strategic focus and a hint of espionage, Deck of Spies will keep you coming back for more.
