Den Stora Fjällvandringen is an adventurous board game that takes you on an exciting journey through the mountainous region of Lapland in Sweden in search of the coveted golden cloudberry. Players start in either Dorotea or Lycksele and explore Lapland by trying to reach new towns by rolling dice or taking a helicopter. In each town, you can flip a token by paying money or rolling a die. The main objective is to find the golden cloudberry, but when flipping the tokens, you never know what you'll find: it could be nothing, a backpack, an exclamation mark, or the cloudberry itself. The exclamation marks can reward you with money, give you extra steps, make you pay, or even switch places with another player. Additionally, the cards provide information and fun facts about the Lapland region. When someone finds the cloudberry, an exciting race begins: the player who found it tries to deliver it back to Dorotea or Lycksele, while the others try to find a backpack, which was previously discarded but is now the key to victory. The winner is the first to reach one of the cities carrying either the cloudberry or the backpack. Get ready for an adventure full of surprises and strategies!
